Easy Crock Pot French Dip Recipe

This Crock Pot French Dip recipe is an absolute family favorite that we love to enjoy year-round. The tender and delicious sandwiches will have your mouth watering just thinking about them.

The recipe is incredibly easy to make and the slow cooker makes it a breeze to prepare. My family loves this meal so much, I often have to use two crock pots to make sure there's enough to feed everyone. Plus, the leftovers are just as delicious.

To make this recipe, you will need a good slow cooker. If you're in the market for a new one, I highly recommend the Ninja cooker. It's great because you can brown the meat in the same slow cooker, which makes for easy clean-up. It's become one of my favorite kitchen appliances.

Another crockpot I love to use is one that has a locking lid. It's perfect for when you need to transport the crockpot somewhere. It's been a reliable and trusty kitchen appliance for me.

  • 3-4 beef roast
  • ½ onion sliced
  • 1 packaged onion soup mix
  • 2 teaspoon miced garlic
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 6 hoagie rolls
  • 12 slices provolone cheese

  1. Place everything (except the rolls) in the crock pot. Cover and cook on lwo for 8-10 hours.
  2. Shred the beef.
  3. Serve on toasted hoagie rolls. Top with provolone cheese.
  4. You can melt the cheese under a broiler.
  5. Serve with the juice and dip your french dip sandwhiches into the broth.
  6. Notes: You can take ¼ cup cornstarch mixed in with ¼ cup water. Stir that into the broth. Turn to high and stur until thicken so you get a nice thickened sauce.
